Rev. Eugene C. Beard, Jr. is a gifted preacher and teacher. His road to ministry was one of the steps ordered by GOD. Step one, in 1991 he was appointed to the Trustee Ministry of Ebenezer Baptist Church, eventually becoming its chairman. Step two, in 1997 the road made a turn that caused him to be ordained as a Deacon. Then came step three, when in 2003 the LORD firmly implanted him on the road, set him aside, and called him to the ministry.
