Rev. Linda L. Clemons
Rev. Linda L. Clemons is a lifelong resident of Washington, PA, graduating from Washington High School in 1968. She attended University of Pittsburgh, graduating in 1983 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. After working as a staff nurse, nursing supervisor, nurse educator and nurse recruiter, Rev. Clemons began studies at LaRoche College. She graduated in 1996 with a Master of Science in Nursing, Nurse Practitioner. Rev. Clemons was called to ministry in 1996, became ordained in 1998. She entered into seminary at Regent University in Virginia Beach, completing a Master of Divinity and Master of Arts in Human Service Counseling. Currently, she is studying to become a licensed professional counselor.
Passionate about ministry to women, Rev. Clemons has had the opportunity to develop a grant funded job preparation program for women following incarceration. Also, she has been given the opportunity to provide Bible Studies and Sunday Services for women incarcerated in the Washington County Correctional Facility.
Concerned about the state of public education in Pennsylvania, Rev. Clemons has served as a School Director in the Washington School District, and served as a representative on the Intermediate Unit One Board of Directors.
In addition to serving as an Associate Pastor, Rev. Clemons also serves at Sunday School Superintendent.

Rev. Eric W. Tarpley
Rev. Eric W. Tarpley has been licensed in ministry since 2007. He has served as an Associate Minister since he has been licensed. His gifts have been working with youth, teaching, preaching and singing with all of the choirs at Nazareth. He is a past member of the Board of Trustees, serving for two years.
He has been a lifelong resident of Washington, PA and is a native son of Nazareth Baptist Church. He has been a part of the church history since he was a little boy. He gave his life to Christ at the age of eight at Nazareth Baptist Church. He went from attending Sunday School in the children's class to now being in the teaching rotation for the Adult Sunday School Class. Rev. Tarpley is married to the love of his life, Tina Metcalf-Tarpley, and they have five children and five grandchildren.
His call to ministry was a long one. He wrestled with his calling into ministry since he has been in high school. All through college, he stayed active in church membership and still could not understand why God was calling him to ministry. It wasn't until January 21, 2007 when he finally answered God's call. He accepted his calling while meeting with a family at his job at California University of Pennsylvania. While meeting with this particular family, he received the confirmation he was seeking about his calling to ministry. He accepted the blessing that day and never looked back.
To this day, Rev. Tarpley is working for the Lord no matter where he is. He believes in building relationships and leading others to Christ. Rev. Tarpley has been employed by California University of Pennsylvania as Assistant Director of Admissions for the last thirteen years, but has been in college admissions for the last eighteen years. Along with college admissions, he serves on various committees that include the following:
